I read it several times and am still not clear on how it went down. The winner says the loser put a gun to his wife's head, but they also state that the losers said nothing and just began shooting. Well, if he held a gun to the winner's wife's head and started shooting, how is she uninjured? I don't know....the whole deal just stinks.
Plus, they fired HUNDREDS of rounds? Cops have already ruled it self defense?0 -

I have not read or listen to all the news about it . just bits and pieces to make any real guesses .

Weird story. We are getting a lot of it around here because the deceased couple lived 10 miles from my place.
The divorced couple was squabbling about a big college fund that they had for their two daughters. The father had remarried and lived in Ohio, with the two girls. The Mom, the Hollywood stunt artist, was remarried and lived near Asheville NC.
So the Mom and her new husband drove to Ohio to sort out this financial dispute. And then, they hid in the bushes, and when Dad and his wife drove up, they began shooting? And they wanted to kill the new wife and the Dad? And they fired from "inches away" and missed?
Then Dad pulled his gun, and shot his divorced wife, and her husband to death. This is the weirdest shootout story I have ever heard.0 -
Excited random comments written down by a reporter.
Sounds to me like the masked guy pointed a gun at the women's head and her husband pulled his piece to engage him, then the mask guy shifted focus to engage the husband and the shoot out began. Moving people, shots fired, people hit and dying. No one is going to remember it the same. The husband is focused on putting lead in the assailants and the wife is probably not focused at all. Conflicting statements are to be expected.0
