Zeppo owned the Marman company which produced the Marman Twin motorcycle and the Marman clamp used in the aerospace and aviation industry. The company later became known as The Aeroquip company . He held patents for a wristwatch that he invented that monitored heart rates of cardiac patients and alarmed if the rate became irregular . In addition he invented a heat pad the produced “ moist” heat instead of dry heat .
