frustration
we had a TV that bit the dust about a month ago, we only had it about 5 months ( oldest son bought it for me when my Tv broke ( old Tv was about 5 to 7 years old ) any way many phone calls and emails and photos and phone calls and being put on hold and ask " please do use profanity : after the fourth call or so. I tried to behave but hit my limit
last phone calls they were to contact me over a week ago and have a repair shop stop in make a call repair or replace
nothing on follow up from anyone phone email .
so I called again yesterday .. after the normal conversation of who I was, reference number and claim number and explained a month had passed and no contact or effort to help really ..
oh we sorry no one in your area will take the call / contract too far away for them to travel .
well WTH are you going to do ?
we will send you a new TV , return your broken one in the box ( about a week to deliver )
why not do that the 1st day ,
I guess I have to wait a week and see

Frigidaire Refrigerator just went out. Had it since Nov. 1. 0 -
There is this local place that sells TV's and appliances at discount prices. All I have ever bought there have had major problems shortly after bringing them home.
I have concluded that the place (ABC Warehouse) only sells "Factory 2nd's", and I avoid the place like the plague!0 -
Bought my current TV (SONY) from WalMart 5 years+ ago. Cheapest model in the size I could use. Works fine but if it quits, I'll get another just like it from the same place. An hour drive but it's on my line of travel for work several times per week. 0 -
Everybody loves to bash them, but if I need another TV, clearance at Walmart. Got one that seems to be about the size of a card table for $129. For a buck and a quarter, it ain't worth the hassle of dealing with customer service from Worst Buy or Short Circuit City. Why are they on clearance? Because they are swapping models, and still have 12 or the model whatsis in the warehouse. 0 -
I'm old enough to remember when an appliance lasted 25-30 years, or more. Those days are long gone. 0
