I have a few firearms with mounted lights on them. 12 ga. Pump, Marlin Camp 9, AR-15, probably forgetting at least one other.

Beyond that, I have a couple very bright high quality flashlights that I am comfortable utilizing, and have practiced with.

Buddy is going to occupy them long enough for me to flick the lights on anyway.

The wife and I both have night sights and lights on our nightstand 9mm's.

Something else to add if you're using a pistol with a light mounted on the rail.....make sure you run plenty of rounds through it that way. One, it gets you accustomed to the added weight and 2, it allows you to make sure the pistol functions properly with that added weight.

Actually, 3, it allows you to see if the light will continue to work through recoil.

I have a light on two pistols , one a laser / light combo on a xds 45  ,  one 870 with a surefire forend and a couple ar style with lights and pressure switches .
I hope there a waste of money as in never having to use them for a  "real threat"  but I do like having the option if needed

Mostly lasers, bedside gun has light laser combo.  Some have tritium sights, a couple with red-dot.

I recommend and push weapon mounted lights heavily in my store.

I am the worst laser salesman there ever was. I always show customers how indoors and night they show up great but during the day you can hardly see it at your feet on the ground.

I think, and sell, that its FAR more important to see what you are shooting than it is to see where your shot will hit. So I sell quite a few weapon lights.

Well, I've gotten pretty good at shooting Armadillos late at night with my little Winchester Model 04 22 while holding a Surefire Tactical light. So, I guess I'd probably do okay with my Colt Trooper 357 Magnum that I keep in the nightstand and that same Surefire light.

My house is lit with a bunch of small led red light, night lights.

I have 3 kids so someone is always walking around in the middle of the night.

Red lights are used onboard ships at night and it works very well.

I'm at an advantage in our house without a light. I know where I'm at but an intruder without a light is going to be stumbling around. I'll wait for him to turn on his light and then it'll be...lights out!
