I made the mistake of stopping at my local gun store, you all know what happened!!

Lately I have been in the market for some inexpensive handguns to hide in my car and put in my garage, shed etc. primarily so I always have a handgun close to me.  Yeah I know, I should have one on me at all times and I do most days but not every day.  It is not very often but every once I will see a strange big mean looking dog running loose while I have one of my dogs out in the yard with me and I live in fear that one of my girls could get chewed up or worse.  I wanted to make sure I could stack the odds a little in my favor should I ever have to wade into a dog fight.  
So I walk in to the Gun Stop and am looking around and there is a Taurus TCP 380, with a pretty pink frame and a  stainless slide in their consignment display case priced at $140.  It came with an extra mag and one of those cell phone looking holsters.  I thought it was worth that price and pulled out the cash and left with it.

The only problem is that carrying a pink framed 380 in your pocket is that my loafers seem to be a little lighter then I remember them being  :D  So I have another pistol to test fire the first day I have a day off and it isn't raining!!

    I should have added that it looks unfired.  If it has been fired the person did a great cleaning job.  So for all intents I got a new pistol plus extras for $140.  I don't know if this is a great deal or not but I didn't hurt myself of that I'm positive.

      If it bother's you a can of paint will make it any color you want . if it wears off  another coat will take care of it 
    I have a hard case for my phone its bright white but got a great deal  ;) wife made fun of it so a fast black paint job took care of it 
     that was a few years ago a little white showing thru  from wear but who cares . its a 5 minute  job to paint it again if I want

    And I was going to go with the old " Bob & Tom " bit where they air the  "Pinkley Taraus" commericial. :)   However, it sounds like a great gun for a hide-out. 

    Ammo can be pricy though.

    If a man has to own something pink at may as well be a gun.  At least it's something pink you get to play with when you want to.

    Pink is probably better, but it is still a Taurus. >:)   Actually I trust their revolvers.

    That is so pathetic but so true.  Something pink you get to play with when ever you want to.  All this talk about how men control women.  It is total BS.  It is not our fault women are so stupid they can't seem to get it through their heads that who ever controls sex controls everything.  :D

    This brings back some old memories for me!  Coming from a large family, I got used to hand me downs quite well up until I had to wear a pair of white figure skates that my older sister outgrew. My dad told me not to worry as he had an ample supply of black shoe polish to keep all the bullies off of me.

    Well, the shoe polish did a great job. It turned the skates PURPLE!  :#   

    I just became a few notches tougher from this experience!

    No offense. But I wouldn't be buying any Taurus for personal protection . Without a guarantee, that it will reliability function. Needless to say, my experience with used Taurus's haven't been positive. I wound up buying, another guys problem child. 

    When it stops raining. Run at least a couple boxes of ammo through it. Till then, i wouldn't be bragging on it. Likely, seeing it's a Taurus. You might have wound up with a pink turd. For all you know .
