Snow
Got a little snow here last night, just enough to turn the ground white, about 1 1 /2". Other than some really light dustings we've only had two snows this season and the other one was back in November when we got a couple or three inches.
On another note the ticks were out in early January and moths were fluttering just a few night ago. A hard winter it's not. I bet ticks are going to be beyond heavy this year.
We do sometimes get some serious winter weather with heavy snows and sub zero temperatures, but not even close this year. Hell when I was about 14 my cousin and I walked across the Ohio river. I've seen it get that cold since then, but not that cold that long.

we ended up with about 2-3 inches, school canceled, daughter asked if grandkids could stay, looks like it may be a long day, granddaughter is a wild child, and with new hip I can't chase her down, so far so good though.........
gotta agree with you on the bugs, gonna be a rough summer0 -
Between Feb. 4th at 4 PM and Feb. 5th at 4PM we got a 14" accumulation. Snowed the whole time. At 4 PM on the 5th it warmed up and started raining. Now 99% of that snow is gone and the creeks and rivers are about over their banks. Some of the roads are closed due to high water and slides. 0 -
Wow, we got another 1 1/2" last night, we'er on a roll. Of course the previous night's had already melted off and about all of last night's has a well. 0
