Super Bowl champion celebrating Super Bowl win, pays adoption fees for 100+ shelter dogs
Excellent way to celebrate
Former FSU defensive lineman Derrick Nnadi, who became a Super Bowl champion on Sunday night when he helped catapult Kansas City to a win against the San Francisco 49ers, celebrated by paying for the adoptions of all the adoptable dogs at a shelter.
The KC Pet Project in Kansas City posted on its Facebook page late Sunday night that the Chiefs’ defensive tackle made the donation through his Derrick Nnadi Foundation.
“We have had an amazing, season-long, partnership with Derrick and he couldn't have thought of a better ending,” the shelter wrote on Facebook.
As of Monday afternoon, the shelter listed 99 adoptable dogs on its website. CNN reported that Nnadi paid off the adoption fees of more than 100 dogs.

I agree it was a great way to spend some of his Super Bowl winnings. I had never thought of that. There are a whole lot of ways a person can do good in this world if they really want to. I donate clothes, both by cleaning out my closet and drawers and also watching for great sales so I can buy new clothes for my churches Jump Start Program. Jump Start is a very worth while program!! 0 -
