NFL And The Stupor Bowl
We used to DVR the "big" game so we could fast-forward past the game and watch the commercials and the half-time show. No more.
This year I intend to ignore the big game, commercials and all, since the entire theme seems to be fem-centric, and at least two of the performers are reprehensible low-lifes.

I came from a family that enjoyed the NFL and all were vets. Including a grandfather that served in the great war, a father in WWII and myself a vet of undeclared wars following.
Since the NFL and its allies in the DEMOCRAT party have championed Colin Krappernick and others for their disrespect towards veterans both past and present as well as police and law enforcement, we have collectively decided to call it quits.
Too bad we don't have coaches like Landry, Shula, and Lombardi anymore that would have kicked National Anthem kneelers out of the league forever, instead of celebrating them.
Like always, the commercials will be seen on regular programming after the game or can be viewed on the internet.
townhall.com, Drudge, Breitbart and other un-poisoned websites have already reported how DEMOCRAT Mike Bloomberg will be running long political ads with misleading facts targeting gun owners. Even the halftime show is expected to feature leftist DEMOCRAT political snippets either obvious or subliminal.

Our last President was a "reprehensible low-life" and you didn't leave the country why would another low life keep you from watching the Super Bowl?

I watched every one up until the last 3 or 4 yrs ago. Too political to watch anymore. 0 -
Won't have anything to do with the National Felony League. I haven't even bought a square on a football pot in several years. Don't care if they play or not, most pro sports "players" are overpriced EGOMANIACS, whose opinions are less than interesting to me. 0 -
The ONLY good thing about today, is the food deals being offered. Beyond that, I have not watched the last 20, (at least.) why would I start now, given the disrespect the Kneelers seem to propose. Screw the NFL.
You have thumbed your nose at your base, similar to NASCAR, Buh Bye...............................................

In the NFL the players knelt and the owners allowed it to happen. In nascrap those in power got doKenK/84Bravo said:The ONLY good thing about today, is the food deals being offered. Two of the greatest tight ends will be performing at half time.

one of the off channells showing mcklintock, and the quiet man, then couple of the sacket movies today, also saw zombieland listed on syfy....... I don't even care about the commercials anymore, last few years have been joke, wasting that kind of money and not even funny 3 -
Years ago my sweet heart of 56 years and I drove from Monroe,NY to Binghamton,NY to watch Joe Namath and the Jets win it all. A very long drive just to sit at a bar and have a burger and fries and watch the Jets. It was fun. Today I watched that POS Bloomberg who is trying to destroy my native state of Virginia and the rest of our country and the halftime show with all the pretty girls. Guess i am just getting old but I would rate it obscene. Never again NFL. 3 -
What is this NFL...……..football...…..you speak of? 3 -
about the only football i have watched this year...and was quite disappointed by the hootchy cootchy crotch half time "show"...more suited to a nudie bar... guess that passes for "family" entertainment now.....did not appreciate the political ads inserted........game itself was a hoot 0 -
Gave up caring about professional sports when the Dodgers bailed on Brooklyn. 0 -
What LBJ said. 0 -
Watched the game (Missouri Team). Saw 2 Trump 2020 commercials but no Bloomberg commercial.
Maybe I missed Bloomberg's commercial.

Switched to and from the game just to try to catch the commercials , and the halftime show . Them two girls have more moves than a bobcat in a burlap bag! They sure didn’t have many clothes on . Definitely not child friendly! Thought the stripper pole bit was a little out of place .

That half time show as far as I'm concerned
Adds new meaning to the term 'SHOWING YOUR AXS"
and becoming a pain in the aXs.
but again nothing really surprises me now days especially since (a quote from above)
Our previous President was a "reprehensible low-life"

Recorded the game and watched it starting 4(?) hours in. Commercials were disappointing. Wife wanted to watch the half-time show, but it was uncomfortable for me to watch with her so I left.
The game itself was good.3 -
Didn't see the Bloomberg commercial but heard it was rather anti 2nd admendment? 0 -
The game was one of the best. KC made a great come back to win.
1/2 time show and commercials meh...0 -
It took me a while but I’m finally weaned from the NFL and everything they represent.
They irritated me about something almost every year, and then they got a copyright on “Super Bowl”. I think the intent was to make the public pay to use the words. In any case everybody on TV avoids saying “Super Bowl”. That alone would have cured me of NFL but added to the other thoughtless infractions I have no more use for the NFL.0
