Remington shut down DPMS and Bushmaster
I'm not surprised at all. Figured it was only a matter of time.
Thread on AR15.com from a former DPMS employee.

Since most everyone has built a few of their own, I guess the market is a little soft. 0 -
I read through an entire page and learned nothing. Apparently someone used to work for Remington and said he'd answer questions about Bushmaster and DPMS- as long as the questions weren't rambling. Someone rambling in a firearms forum? Like that could ever happen [green font]. In any case, I read though a page of questions and never saw a single answer. Six pages follow. Which page has answers? 9 -
They are sprinkled throughout the whole thread, nothing real good, I read through about 5 pages as I'm sitting here waiting for a utility guy to install an automatic water meter reader.

Just took a parts order from an Engineer at the Huntsville. Al, Plant. He says there are, No New parts being made for the Bushmaster or DPMS rifles. No rifles made in the last 4 months. Includes the RM-15 sporter series also. All the parts were sold off to several companies.

Good friend of mine left DPMS when they were relocating to Huntsville. I kinda figured Bushmaster was not far behind. I had some good friends at Tapco as well, they were just on the other side oft he runway from us. ROC is dying a slow death. 0
