    I sometimes wish the same thing, but then I'll have a day like today when I'm suddenly struck by the realization that he has vast swaths of the electorate furiously arguing over whether Mike Bloomberg should have a box to stand on at the debates.

    I am not going to say its Presidential, but for me it's entertaining....and honestly, trying to get stodgy "Statesmen" to do the right thing has been a losing proposition for at least the last several decades.

    All good points, and yes, the box discussion has been most enjoyable.

    On balance, I like the guy more now than when he was elected, and the actions of the idiots in the Democrat party may just force me to vote for him in November.

    Which Candidate that could realistically be Elected in that Election did you Vote for? I know who I Voted for. Potus Trump. If enough of us had not, Hillary would be President now. How do think that would have gone?

    Indeed Ken. I voted for the orange turnip. Seems I can't be critical of him, in some folk's eyes. Oh well for them.  Given the current field of opposition, I will vote for him again. And continue to be critical of his asinine antics and freedom stomping.

    Ken, agree. I voted for President Trump. I did the best I could. Staying at home on election night was not a option for me. My heart aches for my country. ---A Vet & Native Son of Virginia (Cradle of the Republic)

    I really didn't like the guy and still have some problems with him but I think he has done a superb job and I doubt there are many politicians who could have put up with what he has.

    It is a shame that I have had to hold my nose and vote so many times.  I really liked Ted Cruise and think he would have made a good POTUS, I voted for him in the primary's.

    HPD, misread thanks for clearing that up. Still at 2nd rally in Albany I stood right in front of Trump when he said "I will stand behind the 2A, when you need me I will be there." I have been fighting for 2A for decades and first thing I notice immediately after a Rally is the Politicians asking for more money to get re-elected.

    Was that before or after he unilaterally banned bump stocks?

    I also Voted for Cruze in the Primaries. Later, when it became obvious it was going to be either Trump or Hillary, well that was a "No Brainer." I Voted for POTUS Trump. It appears it was a good thing that I did, as it could have easily gone the other way. (POTUS Clinton?) Oh, He[[ No.

    I understand not supporting him, but Why try to tear him down? (Given our choices.) I also think that he has done a "Superb Job." Given the Obstructionist Opposition He has faced from day one, Who could have accomplished as much, given the constraints He has had to deal with?

    By what measure has he done a superb job?  Just a sampling of some of the complete and utter failures of this guy:
    Gun control
    Tariffs/taxes
    Out of control spending that has out paced modest increases in revenue
    Export policies that have shuttered small farmers
    Instituting socialist programs to try to fix the problems he created for farmers (which of course didn't)
    The stupid wall
    Rolled back EPA regulations that now allow mining operations to pollute waterways
    If not for enormous groundswell push back would have eliminated the Grand Staircase and Bears Ears monuments, but still significantly reduced their protections and sizes
    Abused the powers granted to his office by Bush and Obama in the Patriot Act

    the list goes on.

    By what measure has he done a superb job?  Just a sampling of some of the complete and utter failures of this guy:
    Gun control:  A big issue for me, he was wrong and let us know what he will do in the future
    Tariffs/taxes:   Trade deal with other countries needed addressed, it tariffs is what it takes do it.
    Out of control spending that has out paced modest increases in revenue:  Spending is another issue he is failing on, if there's a grand plan I would like to see it
    Export policies that have shuttered small farmers:  Part of redoing trade deals, everything can't be avoided
    Instituting socialist programs to try to fix the problems he created for farmers (which of course didn't):  Yep, everything cant be fixed either.
    The stupid wall:  Talk to congress
    Rolled back EPA regulations that now allow mining operations to pollute waterways:  Not a very accurate way to state this, decreasing restrictions was necessary as the industry was being strangled.   Punish the companies that cause issues but get the governments foot off of the other"s throats. 
    If not for enormous groundswell push back would have eliminated the Grand Staircase and Bears Ears monuments, but still significantly reduced their protections and sizes.  Obama expanded these monuments to what amounts to huge national parks where they had been national lands.  What can be done in national parks/monuments  is greatly restricted, including no hunting, greatly reducing what people could use them for.   The property is still federal property and it needs to be open for people to actually use it.  Obama screwed us when he expanded them. 
    Abused the powers granted to his office by Bush and Obama in the Patriot Act:  The patriot Act needs to be tossed, the republican have no desire to do so.

    I voted for president Trump also, I even sent him campaign funds.   I don't agree with everything he's done, I also like a lot of what he has done.

They tried to draft Trump for NY Governor but he wanted no part of it. Seventeen brave legislators went nose to nose with Cuomo. My State Senator Bill Larkin was one of them.
