Superbowl Sunday Wing Deal -

KenK/84Bravo

Passed by the PizzaPlus in our little Town earlier today, while running errands. They had up on their ad board ".50 cent Wings, Superbowl Sunday." Not sure if it is all PizzaPlus's or just ours.

May have to go pick up about 20 or so tomorrow. Spicy Buffalo. This will be the 1st time I have been in there. I love me some Wings.

Just throwing out a Heads Up, if you have one close to you. Give a call.

    Wish I was closer that is a great deal.  I will be making my own wings tomorrow not for the SB I just love good wings.  I will be doing them in the smoker with some Goods**t rub.

    I have a big bag of frozen wings in the freezer. (3-4 lbs.?) It was way too cheap to pass up. I mean ridiculously inexpensive. (Currently occupying way too much freezer space.) I plan on inaugurating my Smoker, with them. I LOVE good wings.

    Just trying to give some Folks a Heads Up, on a good deal.

    Called in an order. Off to pick up my 20 Buffalo wings with celery and Blue cheese, here in a minute. Just a reminder to folks interested, if any.

    I can remember when the butcher would give you wing tips for free along with beef tallow and bones
    iirc I think mom bought wings for something like $.30-40 per pound

    Before sports bars, wings used to be the cheapest part of the bird.  Well, I guess backs, gizzards, and livers may have been just a bit cheaper.   
    I really do like well prepared wings!  No place in my immediate area makes or sells good ones but I can do a fair job of them at home.  

    My wife teases me every time she sees the pile of bones I leave behind after one of my wing pig outs! :p

    When I called in my order, they asked with Bone, or Boneless. I was taken off guard, and ordered Boneless. I should have ordered 10 of each to try them out.

    Been in the oven slow crisping them, while out splitting some wood, and bringing it in. Have enough for about 3-4 weeks inside ready to go. Heat Pump crapped out a couple days ago, guy coming on Tues. Cant wait to see that bill.

    I screwed up by not asking for 10 and 10. I have Buffalo Chicken nuggets now. Slow crisping in the oven now.

    I'm good. Celery and Blue Cheese dressing, to accompany. The one I've taste tested so far was good.

    Caught me off guard, when they asked me "regular or boneless." As stated, should have asked for 10 &10.

    We are taking a big pot of chili to the neighborhood get together for the game.. But, now you got me jonesin for some wings... Maybe somebody else will be bringing some wings to the party, if not we may have to be calling for a delivery .
