I can not believe I ended an auction on a Monday morn

It was a relist from a dead beat sorry no good non paying bidder and I didn't pay attention just hit relist. The good news is it is selling for over $100.00 more than it sold for the first time.

     I have had a couple of them over the years . I gave a close friend one many years ago ( 30+ ) every time he came over he talked about the old 97 , so I gifted it to him , when he passed several years ago  I would guess one of his sons ended up with it and will never know its origin .  no matter where it ended up  I know it made him happy while he had it  .
    I keep saying I will get another one but reality I doubt it

    That looks very much like the one I own. Mine does not have any pitting on the receiver though. Mine has also been professionally hot blued and has replacement Boyd's furniture. Mine is a 30" full choke barrel though. I consider it my best GB purchase at $350. I stole it.

    Yours appears to going quite well. I believe it is around $750 right now. Good for you Ricci.

    That one is prettier than the one I gave $300 for over the summer at a garage sale.
    I'm still debating cutting mine down to 20 inches. Was at a cowboy shoot over the summer and had an old timer offer to trade a cut down one for my full length barrel.

    Yep, I want to get another one, and make a WWII style trench gun.

    Simmons is a big outfit out here.   They end all of their listings on Monday.     Woodlawn Boys is another local guy that I know pretty well....and he also runs his to end on Monday.      There are quite a few sellers that have decent  luck on Monday.    I don't know about the time though.    I think they end theirs in the evenings.
