New Optic

Bought a new Eotech XPS2-0 today here on GB. I have been thinking of switching from a pump gun to a rifle for the house and I really like an Eotech for close shooting. As long as the target is in the little TV picture you will get a good hit, at least in the confines of most rooms. I still like a 12 ga though. Well the Eotech will fit my Moss 590 or my Rem 870 Police Mag too.

    I have a buddy that has an Eotech 512 on his 870.  It works fine except for the fact that it sits too tall so it's hard to maintain a consistent sight picture.  I shot it in one stage at a three-gun competition and didn't much care for it.  I went with a 512 on my AR but went with a fiber-optic for my shotgun.

    That is a good sight and is the best reticle for it.  The other reticules are too busy IMO.

    Ricci if your AR has a front sight and regular hand-guards these work well for mounting a light which I recommend on a rifle used for CQB

    Yes Sam I do need to screw a light on. I have a Surefire on the Glock 10mm bed gun. I have a Streamlight TLR-1 that I use as a flashlight here at work but that would work just fine on an AR15. And it gives me an excuse er I mean need to order the new Olight flashlight I want er need.

    I have a LED light that is really bright on my AR, it has a function where it flashes really fast.  It works great and dazzles you.  I am hoping it will also induce an epileptic seizure or paralysis in some burglar I am getting ready to shoot :o
