Got to say hello to a couple moose today
Sorry that I do not have photos to share, gents. I was driving along in Post Falls, Idaho when a momma cow and her calf came waltzing along and crossed the road in front of me. They looked quite healthy and unconcerned for their own welfare. I always forget what gangly beasts they are. The calf was not much smaller than its mother, and was possibly almost a 2 year old.

Moose are goofy criters until they get mad then they are very dangerous. 3 -

Gotta be careful when driving in moose territory. I think Volvo is the only car company that tried to engineer a moose proof car. Hitting a 800lb+ animal with long legs that puts most of that weight at windshield height can't be fun. Bob 3 -
