Sounds like good times! I was given a bottle of bourbon from Oceans Daughter Distillery which is a local distillery. I'm sippin' some now, and it's not too shabby.

I'll stick with my 4 year old, chartered, 140 proof shine.  Guy who makes it lives about 6 miles from me.

I haven't had the gold, but I understand it is good. One of the gentlemen whose M1s I listed and sold on GB gave me a bottle of Woodford Reserve as a Christmas gift. I'm down to about one-quarter of that bottle.  :p

I like sippin Woodford Reserve. Then I saw a show on TV about Bourbon & decided to give Four Roses a try. Only slightly different and pretty good. I actually forgot which glass had which in it. It's a forgotten brand & under rated.

Mark, If you like Woodford you should try to find a bottle of the Double Double Oaked  (only bottled in 375ml) a hard to find  great sippin bourbon

I remember as a child when 4 roses. Was the favorite of all the drunks in my neighborhood. It was the cheapest thing they could buy that was full strength . Understand that what they are selling now only shares the name from the product from 55 years ago
