Thompson Center Contender buckle, matching serial number to gun

I recently bought a stainless steel TC Contender that came with a matching belt buckle that has the serial number engraved onto it. I had never heard of one or even seen pictures before. I’ll attach pics. Can someone tell me if it was part of a TCA club offering and/or approximate value? Any info would be helpful.

  and pic's of a bunch of other style of their buckles.

  Image makes me wonder if the original owner had the serial number engraved himself or if it came from the TC factory that way.

  TC Belt buckles were never engraved with Ser #'s
