if you havent done this already try disconnecting the battery waiting about 10 minutes and reconnect. sometimes this will get everything back in sync, good luck. 0 -
I seem to remember shop said to keep jumper battery on car when switching out batteries to keep computer settings same, not sure how far back this would effect vehicles...... 0 -
Plug one of these into your car's cigarette lighter outlet with a 9 volt battery before you remove your car battery to save your computer settings.

haven't fooled with it yet ..to cold in shop and i don't feel like wrestling with it while wearing this monitor ...cannot imagine anything as simple as changing a battery screws up a vehicle completely .....an older one to boot.....will take the ideas presented and get a plan of action when it warms up.....have a smaller heated area for the machine tools but main part is not heated..... 0 -
well SHAZAAM...went out and hooked up cables...it started so i went in and hit the door locks and keyed off and on yada yada yada...no different.....so killed it and unplugged the plugin to the alternator and went in did the same inside and it WORKED OK.......plugged the alternator wires set back in and still works OK ????????????????????? will try again later before i try a run down the road ....and will run a volt test on batt cable to see if there is any draw while all are off 0 -
