If you had responded as SpasmCreek, maybe we would have something.

No matter what you user name, it is easy to recognize your posts. You use all of the periods which AZgundoc doesn't use at all.

I doesn't make any difference how you put the number into the so called "No Call" list. I did the "No Call" list when it first came out and incoming scam calls increased ten fold.

..................just a post partum period . to end it all..... . . . . . the fickle finger of fate has tripped the trigger of the end of days....... a glorious history reduced to a mere shadow on the halls of GB time.......at least it was not an irreverent Drippy Draw or some salivated handle implying a nefarious past of nastiness.......it can happen to you when the bean counters of gunnybroken declared beyond redemption one who has challenged the holy quest and has been fallen by the killer rabbit of wordsmith,,,,,,,,,,.........????? .....and nary a dram to drink.......to ease the pain of proctological pencil pushing

This is not most dire, but it's near it.

Adding yourself to the "no call" list is a great way to let spam callers know that your number is valid, also it should be noted that telemarketers DO NOT care if you are on the no call list.

Shootu is absolutely correct- they don't care. Period. A huge chunk of these callers are from India and Pakistan.

So I have some friends that coached me with enough profanity and insults in Hindi and Urdu that I can usually get them into a screaming fit within 10 seconds. When you are an old fart, you take yer fun where you find it.

What's he gonna do? Complain that when he illegally called me, I said rude things about his relationship with his sister and his goat? Knock yourself out, Patel.

This is a big scam artist working all over the country. About every local radio station and newspaper outlet is sending out warnings. The calls sound legit and ask for personal info and money account numbers.

    Ya"ll be careful out there.

Yesterday must have been some kind of D Day for phone call scammers! My phone kept ringing all afternoon and left at least a dozen messages on my answering machine!

I cannot delete the messages until I play them out, and it took a good 10 minutes to do so. After that, I would quickly answer the ringing phone and hang up quickly. Did that at least 5 or 6 times! I actually thought about unplugging the land line.

The no call list is a scam, I've had all my phones (land and cell) on the list for years and it has done absolutely nothing to even slow down the scammers or the sales folks.
