Newly Released MS Edge Opinions
I see that it was installed by an auto update on my laptop. I've been using Firefox since I baled from IE last year. Has anyone started to use the new MS Edge?

It's a Microsoft product. I wouldn't use it unless it was the only option.

I used Edge exactly once - to download Firefox when I bought this desktop.
Won't have to worry about it now because I spent this afternoon changing from Win 10 to Linux Mint.

Have Foxfire, Chrome and Edge. i used edge for three years with Win 10 and kind of liked the news on it even though they make you suffer through a add each time. Lost my user profile couple weeks ago and this prevents you from accessing your pictures, personal data and etc.
Did not feel comfortable working in registry so went to my GEEK. He took Edge off and feels Edge is causing this user profile problem since he has similar complaints. Also took Norton off and installed Kaspersky Anti-Virus. Got really tired of Norton extensions and messages.
I am using Chrome now. Hope I did the right thing and computer is much more simple now and blazing fast.
