If the revolutionary war were to happen today...
No contest. Wouldn't even talk five minutes with France.
UK company to sell knives with square tips after sharp rise in knife crime
A cutlery company in England has designed a new line of kitchen knives with square tips in an effort to reduce the rising knife crime that has plagued the United Kingdom.
-
Well that should solve their violent crime problem. 🤣

I hope they are not sharp. You might be able to slice someone with em.

Next all rocks and sticks in Great Britain will be required to have a thick rubber coating applied to them.

Don't run with them

Right S-F. This reminds me of buying my young sons safety scissors for grade school. I guess they will outlaw phillips screwdrivers next.😀

LMAO, but then again DEMOCRATs have a great deal in common with a box of rocks, rubber coated or not.

Oh look, a British company has designed a Japanese knife! That does not mean the British will adopt the idea. Getting a little carried away with the condemnation here. As usual.

Sad to see how the country that gave the world such men as Churchill, Drake, F.Selous , Hudson and Cook has become so fearful and weak . By all means we the public must be protected

The Brits apparently forgot they need to be protected from the most formidable enemy of all: Government.

Seems that lately most of the news I get over the internet are stories taking place in the UK. Getting pretty tired of all the silly crap regarding those young "Royals".
I'm surprised that the English citizens haven't done away with the entire monarchy by now! What they have to pay to keep the crown in vogue must be stagnating!

not sure if its a good thing or not, but just one more case of millenials not having/showing any respect for history/traditions, would rather do their own thing....... 0 -

The knives were “repeatedly tested to ensure the tip does not pierce skin intentionally or otherwise,” Viners told the Telegraph.
So the tip won't pierce the skin but the blade will still slash, that should solve all the knifing problems.0 -
What will they do when they realize that people can kill others with their BARE HANDS? 0 -
I seem to recall some royal family in England ? many many moons ago outlawed having any knife with a point on it at the tables due to the dinner parties guest would get out of hand ( drunk ) and stab each other so the"butter knife " came into existence
I could be way off but seem to remember reading about it when in school0 -
I thought they'd ban knives all together and the whole country would be issued a Slap Chop. Also how many degrees would constitute a point? To skirt the silliness they all should buy Chinese Cleavers. 0 -
way easier to reinvent the knife, than to get rid of the muslim problem............ 3
