New forum is loading slower?
Anyone else noticed that the new forums takes longer to load or re-load when using Internet Explorer and Windows 10?
Sometimes never re-loads unless re-selected .
The old forums few weeks ago loaded super fast.

Your problem is those two words: Internet Explorer. Otherwise known as Internet Exploder.
For goodness sake, man, download and swap to a browser newer than dial-up. I'm a Firefox fan, but 88% of the world uses Chrome. Either one will import all your bookmarks and history from Exploder and you'll be in this century at last.

Yep, Google Chrome loads faster, but no selection for New discussions or MY discussions, etc on the right side of the page. (google not as user friendly on the opening page for immediate sleections0??????????

Yep. Unuseable on Android. Gotta download all the snowflake stuff (likes, disagrees, badges, etc.).

I just clicked around from level to level and not one click took longer than one second to load. Win 10/Firefox/desktop.

I just figured it took a long time to get from Georgia to New Mexico.
Yeah, get Chrome, then Goggle can track everything you do every second of the day, great plan.
Firefox is much better about that, though I don't like it much. Probably because I am not used to it.

The new "upgrade" works fine on my laptop, but is virtually unusable on my Samsung Phone. Too damn slow, and locks up constantly. I use my phone for most everything at home.
I find myself spending more time on a different forum since the switch......

I know I'm a geezer, fuddy-duddy, curmudgeon, troglodyte, fossil, boomer...but a phone is only a half-azz computer. Use a real one and you'd have no issues.

Works fine on my desktop with IE and 10. Actually works faster on my Kindle than before the change. Not sure why it would be fast for me as I have a slow ( 3 mbps ) service from good old Centurylink. Bob

Runs full speed on Chrome and Firefox, irritatingly slow using IE. I still haven't tried GB my phone.

Hold the Control button down on your keyboard and roll your mouse wheel to decrease or increase the size of your computer screen and you'll find all the stuff you're looking for.

It never ceases to amuse me that people still use Internet Explorer. Heck even Microsoft finally admitted it was bad and launched Microsoft Edge... which has also failed miserably.

No problems here: Dell XPS Desktop, Windows 10 Pro, and Microsoft Edge (not the newest version).

Today, I converted my Win10 desktop to Linux Mint. It comes with Firefox installed, and all I had to do was SYNC and all my stuff came over - even my extensions. I no longer need a virus blocker or a malware detector (and I had just paid for both, dammit!)
Everything runs smoothly except the programs that are Win or Mac only, but if I really need them, I could buy a cheap Win tablet to run them.
