Made in India...
I stopped by CVS to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy yesterday. In the package with the rest of the paper work there's a note that says manufactured by Torrent Pharmaceuticals LTD India. Manufactured for Torrent Pharma, Basking Ridge, NJ. Well ain't that special?
I used to get a couple of my prescriptions from India and my family doctor was always warning me about buying drugs from India and now here he is writing me a prescription that I filled at an American pharmacy that's selling drugs from India.
I still get my Eliquis (blood thinner) from Canada at a fraction of what it cost here in the US and it's made in Turkey. Same package as they sell here made by the same company since there is no generic for Eliquis. Sad thing is I buy it cheaper paying the total cost out of my pocket in Canada which is cheaper than buying it here in the US using my insurance. If that's not blatantly shoving it up the US citizens rear end I don't know what is.
This sorry ass government of ours helps everybody in the world but their own citizens.
And thanks for the astrik you sorry ass censor.

I agree. Seems to me that one terrorist placed in the right place in the factory could kill a BUNCH of people after taking the meds (US drug checks can be lax). Big pharma has our Congress (R and D) in its back pocket, and until they are stopped, we are at their mercy.
