Adding location to our profile

I wish there was a way to add our locations. It was fun to see where other members live. Is it even possible within this forum?

Adding our hobbies and other personal data would be great too. Kinda like we used to do..

    Put it in your sig line if it's important to you.

    There used to be a thread that included everyone's location. I just did a fruitless search for it.


    Anyway, your profile now has a means to add exactly anything you want from location, to pictures, to files, to God only knows what. Click on your user name at the top right of this screen to get to your profile page


    and add it using this:

    I went to my Profile, added my location as an Activity, and it showed up there. But not in my posts, even after leaving the website and coming back. Maybe I have to log out and back in again?

    If you want your location displayed in your posts, one option, until a Location entry is added to a users profile, is to add your location as a line in your Signature.

    Thanks for that - but it doesn't show up in my posts where it ought to.

    So far at least, this new platform has a whole bunch of "don't wants" and another bunch of "cain'ts" that we do want.

    No, entering it onto your profile does not add it to your posts. If you want to add it to your signature line, you will have to go to that section of your profile and change it to include location.
