  The receiver is not there. The receiver is the gun,, everything else is just parts.. its like buying an AR kit without the lower

  Just to the rear of the chamber, the receiver has been cut, and is not included in the sale. By law, the receiver IS the gun- everything else is parts.

  Exception for certain belt fed machine guns that do not HAVE a receiver as such- for those, BATF says the right hand side plate with the SN is the gun.
