Great music. Used to watch Red Skelton every week.

i did not see a couple of favorites being Tommy Roe and Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits.

i will be seeing Peter Noone in concert this Friday.

"How about those Rolling Stones? Their hair makes The Beatles look like Yule Brenner."

I remember all the songs but have only seen one group - The Stones (twice). Until these clips, I can't remember seeing Red's Hour though.

Funny to think those people looked and were older than I was then and now when I see them again in their youth I am looking at kids

Our generation had the coolest music ! How many of today’s groups will still be going strong 50 years from now ?

I remember watching Red Skelton  but do not remember the rock groups . my dad was a big fan of Red's show  but not so much the rock bands so maybe he switched to our other station ( a whole two options ) while they were on . I  do remember Freddy the  freeloader  and some of the other characters he played ,
Also I remember seeing some of the early rock bands on Ed Sullivan thought  , we had the only TV ( i am sure it was a used set but we had one  )  in the small group of apartments  (  it was a like a block house divided into 3 and 4 room units ) we lived in and a old friend a few years older told me at my moms funeral she came over one evening just to see the beetles on there first appearance

Saw Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits last Friday night.  He puts on a fantastic show very much fun.  Had a chance to meet him after the show and he is very easy to speak with.  I do tend to like the guy for his music and the fact that he had been married to his wife since 1968.

Saw Todd Rundgren a few years ago.  I liked him back in the day but he was a real Richard recently!
Would not play any of his old hits and did just some new stuff.  When the crowd screamed for oldies, he said we were all living in the past!
