Presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg is facing sharp criticism after suggesting the innocent civilians killed in a plane crash shot down by Iran's military died in a 'unwanted tit for tat' between Washington and Tehran.
Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, made the controversial statement on Twitter after reports revealed the downed Ukrainian aircraft was mistakenly shot after it was thought to be a U.S. bomber by Iran.
He wrote: 'Innocent civilians are now dead because they were caught in the middle of an unnecessary and unwanted military tit for tat.'
'My thoughts are with the families and loved ones of all 176 souls lost aboard this flight,' he added.

His comment is correct. His problem, however, is that he is implying that the blame should be placed upon Trump's use of a surgical and measured response to decades of this guy killing Americans. The root cause is Iran's striving for hegemony in the region.
Bootyjudge is either willfully ignorant of history or willing to denigrate his county in his search for political advantage. There are no doubt a small percentage that will support him, but there is a real possibility that this idiocy will tank his campaign.

His comment is absolutely correct, Don. What gets me is that our members have refused to comment in a similar manner. I don't like the race hustling guy the least little bit for quite obvious reasons...even the black race hustlers that he consistently panders to cannot stand him! We are going to be hearing about this issue from the Diapercrats for a very long time to come.
