Facial hair question
What is it called when you have a beard and shave your chin area? Is that mutton/lamb chop? I'm thinking of shaving my chin following my frown line (got a lot of white in that patch).

Mutton Chops, or if it is neatly trimmed, "Gunsliger".

Don't worry about the white patch.....in a few years it will all be white !..(speaking from experience 😉)

mark christian - So it's still chops, huh? I suppose when the side burns connect it's a beard. I do like the term "Gunsliger" better than chops.
Smitty500mag - Hey now. It's just hair. And I'm kind a curious to see if my work cares or notices.
forgemonkey - Kind a like Lee's but I don't like the 'stache and I can't grow a soul patch (as you may be aware us Japos don't have souls).
I'll go trim it with the #3 and see if I like it. If I don't I can clip the chops to match back in to a trimmed beard.

My beard use to be a nice dark red. quite a contrast considering I have blonde hair. Then the gray V shaped streak down the middle started. Had lots of women (unfortunately much younger women) tell me it looked nice. Nowdays, the whole thing is just white

Sometimes I wish I had Alopecia, I swear I think the hair seeds may drop out of our heads and fall on our ears and in our noses. I never had to do all this trimming when I was younger!

I hear ya about those darn ear & nose hairs! I heard a long time ago that if you pull a hair out by its roots, that it will never grow back.
Well, that darn painful rumor sure is a load of BS! On a side note.....I did experience an actual way to get a grown man to cry real baby tears!😅 (without needing an onion)

Didn't look right after a hair cut. Clean cut, Gunslinger then a patch of salt and pepper chin. I'll even it all out to match the patch of chin.

Light a kitchen match then blow it out. Use the hot end to singe the hairs in your ears.

Just use a "Tablespoon of Liquid Smoke," and slap it all over your face. Should be good to go.
