Who thinks the Ukrainian 737...

Could have been an intentional faulty part from a mechanic. Boeing is taking it hard with their aircraft. Sure could ruin an American company. 0 -
It would not surprise me at all if the Iranians did it as they are already spooked, but in the meanwhile the hate filled DEMOCRATs and the media are already saying its Trumps fault. 0 -
Interesting video on tonight's national news. I seemed to explode in the sky. Sure doesn't look like an engine failure. 0 -
my first thought due to the wreckage mess was missile 0 -
It was shot down or one of those missiles hit it by accident, bet me. 3 -
We must have had satellite cameras pointed at Tehran at that time. An errant rocket or rogue terrorist might be the culprit but suppose if it was seen we might have heard about it by now. 0 -
Similar to TWA Flight 800... 0 -
It is not good.
The answer is really important. This was a 3 year old aircraft.
Iran will look to blame Boeing. Ukraine will look for retaliation if it is an Iranian missile. And that won’t exactly deescalate things.
Couple this with the real interesting politics center on US politicians and Ukraine and I think this even is perhaps more important than the missile attacks in Iraq.

Lots of pictures of shrapnel damage....

If it was deliberate and by the Iranians they managed to kill about 60 Canadians and 80 Iranians but no Americans. Which would be worthwhile if the intent was to down a plane and then blame the US. I don't think that will sell, at least outside Iran anyway. Which could be the point?
I tend to go with Occam's Razor but am open to more complicated reasons.

News this morning said they will not turn over black box to Boeing. Plane had routine maintenance 3 days before.
0 -
Story is now that the black box was too badly damaged. Yeah right.
0 -
It was shot down.

Update Iran says it was not a missile , but a plane above it seen it engulfed in fire before crash. It did try and turn around to go back to the airport. Prayers for all of those folks aboard.

I have not seen the alleged video of the incident, but knowledgeable people tell me it looks very much like a missile hit. That would not surprise me one bit. The refusal to turn over the black boxes adds suspicion that it was a "deliberate accident" in which some trigger-happy anti-aircraft crew saw the plane, assumed it was a hostile, and fired before asking any questions or getting approval.
If that's true, he's now dead and unable to testify.

lousy way to die......and looks like a deliberate act but seems to be the wrong place for one....maybe engine blew ??? overall flying is safe unless you are in the one that goes and that has usually zero chance of walking away

they aren't admitting it but white house is saying it was likely trigger happy iranian as two missles were recorded taking off right before the plane blew up.......

And the Iranians are stalling any international investigators so they can clean up any missile debris from the site.
It could have been a mistake, or it could be a false flag shoot-down in the misguided effort to try and convince the world that the US shot it down like Iran Air Flight 655 in July of 1988.
Tehran has some 'splainin to do.

After reading about how many mourners trampled each other to death at the dead generals funeral, I have concluded that the Iranian people are just a bit bat shit crazy!
0 -
It is very telling the only explanation even considered publicly by Iran is mechanical failure & then refusing to provide the flight data recorders- the devices that could objectively validate or refute their position.

OOPS !!

Supposedly this is video of what happened.

it's all over the news now. First I thought it was just fake. Couldn't imagine that the Iranians would be so freakin stupid, to shoot down a passenger plane. But they were, and did. Within a day, they cleaned up all the wreckage. And bulldozed the ground, so no incriminating evidence will be found. So they can just keep on, denying it. What a bunch of freakin losers!

The sick freeken democraps, never stop with their BS. Got some democrap congress woman from callie. Spewing out her venom. Saying Trump is the one responsible, for the Iranians shooting down the Boeing.
I'm so glad, that I was able to get out of callie. The leftie wack jobs, have turned it into a demented phantasy land.

They are now. Iran has admitted that it was "human error" that caused them to shoot down the airliner. Of course the caveat is that it's the US fault in the first place for our "adventurism". They wouldn't have felt the need to shoot it down if the US hadn't started it...yeah WTF'ever
