I created a Gunbroker forums group on Facebook

Warbirds
I created a group on Facebook to maybe help weather the storm tomorrow evening.

Not to badmouth GB but just a place you can find other forum members and get some assistance if needed. It is a ?private group? so others will not see you in there on FB.

Just wanted to put a contingency out there in case one or two folks need it. All are welcome.

    We had one a while back, but after 2-3 years, for no apparent reason, Facebook shut it down.

    I was a member of a local FB shooting group, but the first time censors saw an offer to buy, sell, or trade.......it was gone.

    Personally, I dropped out of all FB functions; they are too intrusive, & their business model is built around buying & selling your personal information.

    Buying/selling is not allowed on commie FB- or even the incling that buying or selling may occur. I have been in a few competitive shooting FB groups that were also killed w/o warning.

    I figured this FB group could survive long enough to help anyone who doesn?t survive the forum upgrade.

    Funny thing though, Nunn's Guns has a page on Facebook, and they have never tried to censor it.

    I don't have offers for sale, but I have posted gun show notices, and links to my Gunbroker auctions.

    Gunbroker has a Facebook page. I don?t know who runs it but it doesn?t seem to have much interaction as other gun pages. They sure do promote Springfield Armory a lot on it, maybe they didn?t get the memo lol.

    I did the same and it yielded the same results- nothing. What little interest I had in Facebook has waned.
