well.....it WAS a plan

after listening to biden speak that i should get a job coding, i thought about it for several days and looked everywhere for my secret decoder ring i got out of a box of cereal many, many years ago, but to no avail......so i guess i am not prepared to give up social security just yet.....or maybe i just heard him wrong ...hard to tell which end he is speaking from

    My dad worked in the mines for many years. The miners in this area always called it pulling pillars. Yes I am familiar with this.

    Yep,some of my folk and a lot of the older neighbors worked the numerious small coal mines here . Pulling pillars is one the way out of a used up shaft. Took a special group of men ----vets of the mine and or men with brass balls. They would blow the remaining support pillar, clean up the coal and move back toward the entrance, doing it all over again.

    I wasn?t a miner but I was servicing a man trip car and the mountain would rumble. I asked the miner with me what it was.
    I couldn?t wait to get out of that hole.
