2019 Aberration
Sitting here going over 2019 I noticed something strange. I did NOT buy any guns last year! I put together a 10/22, bought cheap 22 shells, a few cases of shotgun shells, cleaning supplies, etc..., but NO guns. What happened? Nothing floated my boat and no fantastic deals I couldn't pass up. This may be a sign of getting old and decrepit. Gotta start making a list of desirable weapons for 2020 to keep my eye out for. Can't let this happen again! Bob

I'm in about the identical situation.
However, traitors are moving to takeover Virginia!
I just ordered a KelTec Sub2000 in 9mm to carry in my vehicle.
I'm waiting for the new Glock44.
I plan to order a PSA "Virginia-15" AR-15 Stripped Lower Receiver to build a home defense gun.

Sounds like you have a plan. Me I'm still procrastinating. In fact I am so lazy I think I'll put off the procrastinating until tomorrow. All the talk of the new Python has me looking at the new King Cobra target. I have that niche covered with S&W and Ruger now but the only Colt dbl action I have is an older Det. Special and its probably lonely. I wish they would make the Cobras in blue. The only stainless revolver I have is a 30 year old S&W 624. Stainless semis are O.K. but for some reason I prefer blued wheel guns. Bob 0 -
It could be a bi-product not of getting old itself, but for collecting for many years and getting most of what you wanted already. I have noticed for me, as my safe is busting at the seams, I have slowed my number of purchases, but the overall dollars per year has went up dramatically.
I jokingly asked my wife why she got me a gun (10/22 stainless laminate) for our first Christmas in 1990 but hasn't ever gotten me anything since. She said, "I've seen your list and the rough estimated prices beside it. Yeah, I'm not getting those, you are on your own".
