You must trap it, cook it, and slowly eat it in full view of the other rodents so they will fear you and move out.

I trap them so they don't crawl off, die and stink.

My dogs will get one every once in a while in the garage. I keep a 5 gal bucket with bird seed and the mice get in the bucket occasionally. The dogs always check the bucket and if there is a mouse inside I will flip it out and one of them will catch it. It gets messy sometimes :D

I guess the new nose hose isn't working?

I like you just fine Ken. I just hope your Buddy doesn't find and eat a dead mouse.

    I hear you Brother.

I am being super careful to make sure that does not happen. They get in my below the house flexible duct work for my Heat pump/AC and make their way in, every fall. When I saw this one scurrying around, it was Game On.

I never liked you before. What makes you think I'd like you now???

Personally I think traps are better than poison with dogs around. Good luck with the little vermen....

I buy these little containers at Walmart (I hate Walmart) for less than a buck. I buy traps at Rural King (I love Rural King)

Put a mousetrap in the container and drill a hole in the end to let the meeses in.
The mouse gets in but the cats and dog stay out.
The container is see-thru so its easy to check the trap.

At my old place I used to set a "trap line" every November in my shop. Usually got 5-8 mice and then I was done til spring. I found JAWS mouse traps and peanut butter to be the best defense. It was kind of a game to me to see if I could outsmart them.
