I like it. Turns out it is a Polish proverb, ‘’Nie mój cyrk, nie moje małpy translates to "Not my circus, not my monkeys’’,it is difficult to find its English equivalent.

There were a couple of signs on the bulletin board outside my office- the "Not my circus" was one. The other was "Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes the reason is YOU WERE STUPID. "

Pair of professional panhandlers frequent a corner by the shopping center. Always something new and entertaining on their cardboard signs. Yesterday, one had a sign that said, "I was addicted to the Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around", the one next to him had one that said, "No BS, I just need a beer".
