I think I have a bottle in the cabinet its Ok better then smelling like most I encounter and a lot like hoppes gun products smell seems you either like it or not ,

when younger ( many many years ago ) I would use what ever the current girl I was going out with liked . some smells I was Ok with some not so much ( but then again I was the same with the girls ) I never have liked really strong smells and some perfume girls have used I have a hard time breathing around .

When I was growing up seems all the WW2 guys wore Old Spice when they dressed up for church or special occasions.

When I was a little boy I would ask mom what to get dad for Christmas. It was either old spice or a tie she would say. At 10, I couldn't pick out a tie but tried. Dad always thanked me but looking back he was thinking that he would never wear that darn tie and he had about 1.5 gallons of old spice in stock. I sure miss that guy.

    😔

I always liked it, but my GF hates it. End result? It's no longer in the house.

Wise decision Mark even though I've never met the girlfriend.

Joe, I didn't like that cologne that much! When I tossed out the Old Spice she gave me this:

    It's a great cologne.

No...just the cologne. I remain hopeful!

If it smelled like good pasta and gravy then that would be cool. Wait, I would probably bite my arm.🥣🥣🥣

I am not a fan of cologne or perfume.............especially old women who wear too much perfume. When I worked overnights at my large store there was this woman who wore too much perfume...........at 0600 when she came in, I could smell it from 100 yds away across the store..........I could always tell when she came in.

I am an ex smoker and find that now I am offended by strong odors of any kind.

“Old Spice means quality said the captain to the boatswain, so look for the bottle with ship that sails the ocean”.

That was the jingle in the commercial.

How many of you old farts remember that?

I like the old high karate cologne commercials with sound effects where the fellows had to fight off the gals when using it ..

    pre PC days for sure

I use Old Spice stick deodorant under the pits. The combination of Old Spice mixed with my BO makes quite a pronounced statement. Only my dog loves me for who I really am! 🙂

The trick is not to sweat.

Old Spice has a dry spray and it is good stuff. The Old Spice was like being in an elevator and people wondering who put that stuff on.🤔

I have used Old Spice aftershave since I started shaving and my dad did before me. I rarely shave these days only about 3 or 4 times a year but Old Spice is still on the counter.

I've been using Old Spice Classic deordorant for ever. I don't like strong scents and this is a rather mild.

I've gone even farther "geezer" I guess. When I use an aftershave (not that often) it's Mennon Skin Bracer. I like it, and don't give a rodent's rectum who doesn't.

I've gotten gift colognes from my kids, like every other guy. There are two bottles of them in the back of the medicine cabinet. I have no idea what either of them are, but one of them has to be a decade old and still half full.

What I use most of is Dove for Men aftershave balm. It's soothing, odor-free, and goes a long way. Their body washes and deodorants are great, too. Easy on older skin and only lightly scented.

If you really want to travel back in time to 1950s barbershop smells, get a bottle of Club Man by Pinaud.

...Oh no, didn't like it when I was a kid when Dad & Uncles wore... "Light Blue" or "The One" made by Dolce Gabbana...the ladies like both, just takes a little so bottles last a long time...

My dad liked Seaforth. He mentioned that once years ago so I set about trying to buy a bottle for him. Amazing the number of people on eBay willing to sell empty bottles for full price!
