White House to host Floyd family
I see the White House will be hosting George Floyd's family for a visit with the president. I'm sure my view will be considered unrepentant racism, but, damn, there's something not quite right when a counterfeit-passing, fentanyl-using dead guy's family should get a payoff of $27 million and treatment as if they were heads of state, Medal of Honor winners or World Series champions. (OK, I'm heartless; I accept your flames in advance, if you wish.😏)

Why not bring in the family of the poor hands up don't shoot "victim" Michael Brown too? It would be a great photo op to have grilled chicken and roasted taters for lunch with Da Prez and his lovely VP in attendance

This is a sad statement as to the where we are as a country.
George Floyd should not have died a year ago. He made 100s of bad choices throughout his life that put him in that situation. Chauvin made a bad choice that hastened his death.
With Floyd's chosen lifestyle, he was not long for the world. Had he died of the inevitable drug overdose we would have never heard of him.

I have told my wife it sure seems the left is doing all they possibly can to get the right to react . and they are sure driving a huge spike in diving the country .
I heard a few days ago they were looking to forgive all the minority farmers debt no white farmers are included .. yep that sure promotes unity

Walking over to my neighbor's acreage Wednesday to feed his cats while he was off fishing, I saw what at first appeared to be a new paint-stirring stick lying on the road. As I reached it, I saw it was a wooden shim with some writing on it. I picked it up, and on one side was written in Magic Marker, "He's no hero." On the other side was written "George Floyd." I'm guessing that this wasn't the only shim tossed onto area roads. I'll bet someone bought a big pack of shims and used them to distribute the message the mass media refuse to share.

No paint sticks but it did make me puke. Dad was a medic WW2 and many of us have that great generation to look back on. What will my grandson have to look back on. Oh yes, his was the generation that made George Floyd a Martyr. My grandfather, Martin, a saw miller in Central Virginia worked side by side as a equal with black men. He was Troop K 3rd Calvary WW1. The payoff may be a little extreme especially because it comes out of the budget of the city Floyd lived in, but they have shown the police are a little too quick to use deadly force sometimes.
If the idea is validated by not letting anyone get away with it, maybe everyone won't be so eager to set one another on fire for the slightest show of anything that could be construed contempt.
