Wondering if anyone has thought about installing more batteries where the engine use to be or maybe in the bed section for extended range.

Some fools stand in line for hours for the privilege of paying a thousand dollars for the latest iPhone as well. People are stupid. And just because they say they have all those orders for all those extension cord trucks doesn't mean people will actually be buying them. We have some bad times coming and I'm thinking $60,000.00 vehicles will be a hard sell in a couple of years. I remember the Carter economy.

Most folks live in the current times. Only the visionary folks can see this upcoming mess. The economy isn't in today's time.. it is always 9 months to a yr out when the things happening today start to occur. That is the exact reason I am selling selling selling rental properties...

One thing that would make electric vehicles more viable would be battery exchange stations. Pull in, pop your battery out, and slide a newly re-charged one in. Until that happens, I will shy away from them.
Maybe, Merlin.
I don't know if I would want to trust a battery pack with a history I know nothing about.
If one is depending upon it going 300 miles and it only lakes it 220, what are you going to do?
