Around here , farmers purchase retired school busses. They remove the seats ,chop the body down to floor level and use the exteme rear end to re- enclose the cab area . For a couple of thousand dollars and about aweek of shop time ( in the off seaon) they have a new two ton flatbed truck to haul sweet potatoes on .I will try to find one to take pics of and post .A dedicated flatbed would be 10 or 12 thousand on the used market
