I Am A Stock Holder
I now own 140 shares of Gunbroker stock, listed as POWW. I own some stock funds, but this was my first single stock purchase.
Was it a wise investment? It doesn't matter. I resolved a long time ago to buy shares in Gunbroker as soon as it went public. They've been good to me, so I will support them.

...The only stock I ever messed with was Bali Mfg., years ago...they made & refurbished slot machines for Nevada...stock would be YTD low around Nov. then a few months later it would jump up a LOT every year...it was a great cyclical stock, might still be...not messed with any stock in years...

The one time I tried buying a stock it was some pharmaceutical company that my cousin (who made himself a wealthy man day trading) told me was a sure bet as they had developed a cure for Parkinsons. Okay!, says I and proceeded to plunk down a thousand dollars. Before I knew what was going on it was worth 28 cents. Literally, 28 stinkin' cents. I just give the funds to my money dude now and let him deal with it. He has done very well for us.

3.5 k shares... been in since December
Poww.p exists as preferred shares. Pays 8.75% divy
If you manage to get shares below 25 bucks a share you effectively get a higher divy as its based on 25 share price. Rolling in cash rn. Buy while its hot.

Capt. Kirk gave me a cap, so I am almost up with you Mark. I earned the same pay and did a damn site less.

I was testing the waters and bought some AMC stock at around $12 a share. Sold enough to refund my initial investment $ amount when it hit $19 a share. Still watching the 40 odd shares left over.
I'm not investing in AMC's longterm viability, I'm looking for it to rocket up like Game Stop where I can then sell it at a significant increase. Buy low sell high.

For those of us who bought when David Nunn posted this, I bought on the 11th of May, We are up over 42%, tempting to sell but I think I'll hold a little longer.
