Barrel length and ballistics vs caliber questions on another thread made me want to ask you about your opinion about .458 SOCOM v .450 Bushmaster and some of the other "thumpers".........any general thoughts? I like .458 SOCOM because it only requires an upper change and can use standard AR mags.

Honestly, I don't know. I haven't made that conversion, nor do I have anything in the caliber. I make it a point to never BS you guys. If I don't have first hand experience, I say so.

I picked the 450 bushmaster because ammo was a little cheaper and easier to get before the ammo shortage you can use regular mags you have to change the followers I need to add that is to the 10 Rd or less mags
