I have to give these guys credit for not giving up.


Single shot, break open pistols are exempted from the crazy California gun laws. Once you have a legal frame, you are free to swap parts. (Like a new slide).


Here is how they are getting new raceguns.

    And that is why I don't ship guns to California. Their gun laws are stupid and make no sense and they change every fifteen minutes.

    It is a 2011 style race gun frame with a single shot break open, functioning 38 Super Comp slide.


    That frame is probably about $5grand.

    Some kind of 1911 frame, STI??, with a single shot upper instead of a slide. Buy the gun as a single shot, buy a 1911 slide and put it on the frame. You now have a legal 1911. Until the state decides it isn't.

    It would be easier and better to simply MOVE TO A REAL STATE, not a nanny state :)

    I think if I had to resort to nonsense like that I'd be resorting to using it on something other than inanimate targets.

    I watch a Ca gun dealer's auctions on GB. Prices are higher as the guns are already in state.

    The only sticking point is these days it is unclear if converting that thing to semi auto is actually legal.

    Why not just let Kalif and Kalifornian's be Mexico. (Almost bet that Mexico would not want any of Kalif.

    Kalif would drag down Mexico and make them also look stupid.
