Earthquake???!?
I just had a ton of rumbling, and thought "here comes a big one" and then it faded away. I went out to look around and there was an Osprey going past about 10,000 feet up. Pretty impressive bird! Lots of thump thump thump even when rigged for speed. Funny, I didn't know there were jarheads in town.

I local airport I used to work at gets them two or three times a week from Camp Lejune . They spend an hour or so doing touch and goes and rolling take offs .

Mostly we have F22s here and the support aircraft. This was a nice surprise.

We did a bunch of MFF(Military Free Fall) jumps from them up to about 14k ft. They have some crazy rotor wash and are loud inside.
The Navy and Air force use them too so it could have been a USAF bird.

Good friends son in law is a crew chief on those birds in the Marines.
Had a short conversation with him once in passing and asked him what breaks on them and he said
" Everything ! ".
