P35 Vis 35

I have a Radom VIS 35 with a slide that is extremely difficult to operate,

All the parts function well but when the hammer is dropped it still has strong spring tension on it.

I hesitate to do anything to the strut or the hammer spring as this is a nice original pistol. I tried lubricating

all the appropriate parts with no change.

I would greately appreciate any suggestions.

I am not familiar with the Radom, but, military handguns often have strong hammer springs to assure primer ignition.

I have a P35 ( polish eagle 1939 ) . . . the slide spring should be stiff. . . New or replaced.
resistance pressure increases as it compresses
Should be about the same as a 1911 or hi power ( unless it was replaced . . . with the wrong spring ! )

Any decent 1911 guy can inspect and advise
