Well I see the tripod tripped on the Nenana Ice Classic yesterday @ 12:50 pm.

  Heck I put in April 25th like always... my birthday.

  ‘Course this year is a bit weird, it snowed yesterday.

  Yes, I read on ADN that the tripod actually moved upriver enough to trip the clock but not tip the tripod over, so ice may still be there today. Way strange.

  Probably there's an ice dam forming downriver somewhere so the river level is coming up. That happens all the time.
