Alabama legislature passes lifetime carry bill
The Alabama legislature has passed a lifetime carry permit bill, now assigned Act 2021-246, that is awaiting the governor's signature. For a fee of $300 eligible citizens will now be able to have a lifetime carry permit.
An amendment, which was part of the current 1-5 year carry permit, was made during hearings that exempts active duty, retired military and veterans from having to pay the fee.
SB358, having passed the Senate is awaiting action in the House. This would create and designate Alabama as a Second Amendment Sanctuary State, joining other states in the fight to preserve our Constitutional rights to keep and bear arms.

How can it possibly be a "Second Amendment Sanctuary State" if they require a "permit"? They better reclass as a firearms privilege state.

Now now, HPD. Stop asking reasonable questions.
Any law that legislates access is good. I would have thought you understood this by now.

Okay. Yet again there is large fee unless you are in a privileged class.
