Well, it's "Earth Day"
So we'll have to endure a whole day of leftist nutjobs foaming at the mouth about how the USA is destroying the planet - and should pay for it.
I just want to know one thing from them: If I were to do everything they ask and give up everything they demand, exactly how much of a degree will it lower the global climate? Because if they can't tell me that, or if it's something like the 23rd decimal place of one degree, then I will not so graciously tell them where to stick their plan.
And I'm pretty damn sure that if we just drowned Greta Thunberg, that alone would lower the amount of hot air being spewed.

Greta has a new cause. It is unfair for wealthy countries to vaccinate people, when people in poor countries have not been vaccinated. And, of course, this is tied in to climate change.

Climate activist Greta Thunberg, 18, is adding vaccine inequality to her agenda. In a speech on Monday, she said it was "unethical" to vaccinate young people in rich countries when health workers in low resource countries aren't yet inoculated.
Greta Thunberg, the 18-year-old Swedish environmental activist, is now lobbying world leaders to make sure that COVID vaccines are distributed equitably around the globe.
Speaking at a Monday press conference for the World Health Organization, Thunberg called it is "unethical" that young people at low-risk from COVID in rich nations are being vaccinated before health care workers in low-income countries.
"The only morally right thing to do is to prioritize the people who are the most vulnerable, no matter whether they live in a high-income country or a low-income country," she said.
"The international community, governments and vaccine developers must step up their game and address the tragedy that is vaccine inequity."
Thunberg tied the issue of COVID vaccine equity to her hallmark issue of climate change.
"As we are cutting down forests and destroying habitats, we are creating the ideal conditions for diseases to spill over from one animal to another and then to us," she said. "We can no longer separate the health crisis from the ecological crisis. We cannot separate the ecological crisis from the climate crisis. It's all interlinked in many ways."

I remember the first Earth Day. In the area where I lived and recreated, the driving forces behind it were the Pagans and Wiccans. That's enough to make me leave it alone.

Well to celebrate I will be using my boom sprayer on the JD to lay down weed killer on about 17 acres of pasture to help the hay grow to feed all those farting cows causing all the problems...

I see the President was flapping his gums about reducing carbon being sent into the atmosphere. If he is worried about that why did he shut down the pipeline. Those big tanker ships spew more carbon than thousands of cars, trains and trucks all add to the carbon. The pipeline move oil safely, with no carbon being introduced into the atmosphere. Just because the pipeline didn't contribute to his campaign, they are evil.

I watched part of a GOP member grilling Greta about her agenda she is pushing for the USA and UK
I will say she is the perfect politician she would not give a straight answer ( maybe because she has none ) and admitted she had no study's to back her up and her words were just metaphors to get her ideas out there
she was ask whats the acceptable level PPM or any harmful substances you want to regulate ? give me a % of what you think is right ..well I do not have one or a study on what is acceptable but we need it to be low
she was also cornered on how you going to get China and India to go along
her they will follow America if the USA does it first . she was ask you know they treat people inhumanely and genocide as starters and you think they will just follow your advise on saving the planet and how are you going to make them do it . no good answerer just the normal ramblings I dont know but we still need to make them

Earth day has passed, thankfully. What a relief. I can go back to farting again.

Earth day started here in Wisconsin. I remember it well as we made a video promoting it. I can only show it to a few people close friends or I could be labeled ( fill in the blank ) but we celebrated it by filling the air with lead.😀😀😀
