Moved a 12x24' building 75 feet and it might as well have been torn down and built back from scratch

How far did you have it moved?

Sorry, just looked at the title. 75" If it was built on 4x4 runners, we have rolled one on pvc pipe to move it.

I'm just happy you are here sharing life's foibles with us. I don't feel so alone when things go sideways for me. Lol.

Sounds like at first you had too many Chiefs and not enough Indians .

It was a nightmare. I wasn't even going to be out there looking at what they were doing, but I couldn't resist seeing someone pick up that building with whatever equipment they were planning to use. We were only moving it around 75 feet. We have a pasture area next to our house that is overgrown around the edges. Our neighbor has been cutting the inside area with a bush hog for several years, but letting the outer edges grow up. So, when I moved the storage building here we just sat it in the "flattest" are in the field....but it wasn't where we wanted it to be forever. I finally got someone to come and do some clearing out and cut down all the overgrowth, so we had a better place for the building ready. When we bought this place we should have gotten a tractor and kept everything cut down....but we just mowed the yard area and let everything else go. I'm guessing we have about 7 acres still of our property that is just wild, but what we have cleared is all I plan on dealing with.

I moved a building about the same size about the same distance.I used 4 inch PVC pipe,a floor jack, a few nylon straps and a come along. It took best part of a day but I did it by myself.

Glad it is still a building! Surely any issues will buff right out
