Follow up for home sitter
Mom is in a nursing home and the house I have in central Indiana is sitting vacant. PM me if you know of a party whom is of need of housing .. maybe a Veteran, or someone else who is responsible, clean and just plain a good person. It is a 1350 SF brick 3 bed 2 bath home with a 2 car garage in a great neighborhood. looking for an older married or non married . Anyone on GB can apply. No rent will be charged but assistance in Utilities would be appreciated.

That is my home when Mom deceases thru a life estate. I cannot accept rent because it will put her over the Medicaid limit should she need it someday..or they do a 5 yr look back. House sitting only.

House has a new gas furnace, central air, fenced back yard, new roof and gutters installed yesterday.

I am on a fishing trip trying to find someone responsible. Next step will be calling the American Legion or maybe the Police Dept in the large town... they might have an officer needing housing. Fortune will happen to someone.

Check with the DAV or as stated the legion . I am sure there are lots of qualified folks in your area .Another option if there is military base near by , a couple in need of off base housing . If they have made Sargent or better you can bet they Are pretty responsible. . Let us know how the search turns out also keep in mind the local LEO’s and first responders.

Not impossible someday to move back up there... but if I did it would be a much larger home in a remote location.
