Well, I can relate. I have a place in the country and I left the door open one day and yea, a snake came from under the seat while I was driving. No it was not a funny thing. We have copperheads around and it turned out to be a water snake with markings I think. Stuff like that shortens my life and YEA, I am a big weenie when it comes to that.

Sorry Kasey, I cannot identify imaginary snakes, there are just too many possibilities.

I bet it was one of those copper mouth rattlehead snakes.

We had my daughter's VW bug picked up to be worked on one time, several years ago. The people that picked it up got it started (a miracle) and were starting to leave with it when I looked out the kitchen window and the guy had jumped out of it and it was rolling to a stop where the motor went dead. I walked out and he said there was a snake coming out from under the drivers seat when he looked down. It was like a live action movie going on out there for a minute.

I can't deal with snakes.....I have NO control over myself if I ever do run into one.

Had a big 6 ft long black snake that crawled out of a electric dryer at my feet while I was working on the dryer indie my Garage.. It was coiled up and mad? Not a good thing when seen between the feet as a surprise. Still have not located a couple of tools that were in my hands when I first seen him

Caught a 6 footer by hand in the House couple years ago. Could not take the chance of letting him out of site so I did the quick grab by hand behind his head. He wrapped around my arm all the way to my neck as I was carrying him outside. He had a skunk type smell.

Would not have been able to sleep in the house if he had escaped inside the house.

I'm not really scared of snakes, just don't like the ones that surprise me.

"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers"

Clearly I am off spring of Eve as I have loads of Enmity towards Snakes :)

Isn't wildlife interesting! Aways back my kid had a 79 landcruiser that he took the top off of & that he left his "carry out boxes" of pizza in when he went into the house. Wife and I were coming in from a party rather late and when pulling into the drive must have had 10 pairs of eyes looking at us. Coons were really enjoying his leftovers!

I don't like snakes. I woulda set the truck on fire to get the snake out.

You know how if you set something valuable on the floor of the truck and drive around a corner with the door open, that valuable thing inevitably falls out?

There's your answer. Open the door and go drive around a corner. Snake is guaranteed to fall out.

    I don't understand the problem.

I keep telling Grandson that more folks are hurt trying to get away from something that isn't a threat (unknown/imaginary snake) than are hurt by a real snake.

I did learn a valuable lesson about myself that one day when I opened the back door and was ready to walk an elderly man to his car.....and a snake was curled up on the top step.

When a snake appears its "every man for himself" and I WILL push an elderly man toward a snake if I'm startled (keep that in mind if you are near me at any time a snake might appear.)

Thanks Kasey, I might have lost a step in recent years, so a little push might help me with catching it. 😊

Never had any problems with snakes in any vehicles but bees have caused me to make a few unplanned stops along the roadways! A wasp one time flew in through the vent window and ended up in my wife's bra! 😲

It was a good thing I was driving that day and stayed cool to get to a safe place to help her out. She learned that even on hot days it is best to keep the cleavage buttoned up tight just in case!!

Oh! And that dang wasp must have stung her at least a half dozen times!

Do you chew tobacco? Backer juice is a good remedy for bee stings.😲
