Great, hope you love your new home! We hope to be right behind you within the next couple years. I have two 30 foot vans, and am going to be getting a 48 footer also. Window shopping for a Peterbilt or Kenworth too as I am out and about. It will be a wonderful day when I am east of Spokane, and I can see Washington in the rear view mirrors, and she's a rollin' smoke.

Don't know how black it is inside of a cow, only been up to my shoulder in a few trying to turn a stuck calf, but falling asleep to a 'yote singing is a great thing. As much as I love hunting coyotes, their singing is special to listen too.

Sounds like a neat place. Enjoy.

    Sound good.

I don't know how the truckers do it either.

My eyes overload anymore if I drive more than two hours.

Best of luck on your new dream. Someday soon I hope to see the Socialist State of NY in my rear view mirror.-----------------Ray

My last trip from New Germany was 2 years ago. Many 7-1/2 hour trips to have a new house built, move every thing & get old houses ready to sell. I only miss a few people & the food. Neo, I'm sure you'll fit in & find many like minded friends.

Hope you "live long and prosper" at you new place of peace and happiness.

    Big Sky Country. Nice.

Check into Toyo Stoves. They're very popular here in Alaska.

Whew! Just sat down for dinner after the first day. Lots of note taking, things that need fixed now, things to do later. Getting the plan pulled together is almost more work than doing the work!

I'm SW of Kalispell so still quite a ways from BSR and MJ.

No plan on changing the forum name. I've been NeoBlackdog for too long to get used to something else. I'll just need to figure out what NEO stands for now that it's no longer North East Oregon!

Thanks for all the well wishes, folks. Much appreciated.

NEO = New Environment Opportunities? 😁

In Latin, "neo" is the preface meaning "new" so it remains entirely apropos for you, good sir. Everything from today onward is new.
