He died in an Aircraft accident. He was a true hero even though he was a commie.

My granddad had a small yellow dog named Uri and was questioned a lot about perhaps being a Soviet sympathizer. Come to find out and in Grandpa's own words, "Uri is short for URINE" and his dog had a never ending supply of it! 😮
